Latte art patterns are created when pouring steamed milk in a specific way into a cup containing espresso. Due to the conditions having to be just right, these can be difficult to create consistently. So, whether it be a rosetta (leaf), heart or what have you, practice practice practice. While you don’t want to waste milk and money practicing, you can use water as a substitute in the meantime. Once you feel like a pro, move onto steamed milk.
